Translate and understand any video, without leaving the conversation
Connect vaivox to ChatGPT or Claude once, and you can ask for a video to be translated the way you would ask a person: paste a link, say the language, get it back about a minute later — no tabs, no forms, no copy-paste. You watch the original and hear it in your language, so you understand it instead of reading subtitles.
What you need
•A vaivox plan. Dubbing from inside an assistant is for paying plans; on the free plan you dub here on vaivox.com.
•ChatGPT or Claude. Each one calls it by a different name — plugins in ChatGPT, connectors in Claude — but it is the same thing and the same address.
•Two minutes, once. After that it is always there.
How to connect it
The address to paste is the same for both:

In ChatGPT
Open Customise, then Plugins, then New plugin.
Give it a name (vaivox) and paste the address under Server URL.
Leave Authentication on OAuth, accept the notice, and save.
In Claude
Open Settings, then Connectors.
Choose Add custom connector and paste the address.
Confirm, and leave the advanced settings alone.
Then connect your vaivox account
The assistant asks you to connect. You land on a vaivox page that shows what it will be able to do and how many minutes you have left. Approve, and you are done — once, not every time.
Turn it on in a conversation
In a new chat, open the + menu and switch vaivox on. In ChatGPT it appears under Plugins, in Claude under Connectors.
Then just ask
“Translate this video into Italian: …”
“I found this Chinese tutorial, can you dub it for me in English?”
“Is that dubbing ready?”
The assistant hands you back a vaivox page where the translated voice plays in sync with the video, so you can follow it and understand it. Most videos come back in about a minute.
What it cannot do
×See your password — it never passes through the assistant.
×Pay, buy minutes or change your plan.
×Touch anything except the dubbings you ask for.
You can disconnect it whenever you want, from the same settings page.
And the other assistants?
Vaivox speaks the open standard that ChatGPT and Claude both use for this, so it will very likely work in any other assistant that supports it. We have tested it in these two, and those are the ones we can promise.
